Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality technical support to our external customers, delivering training sessions on our products and assisting with the testing and approval process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing technical support to customers via telephone, email, remote desktop sessions, and face-to-face meetings
* Delivering training sessions on our products, covering technical functions, applications, and common faults
* Test and confirm reported issues from customers, following company procedures and guidelines for remedial action
* Preparing technical documentation, including product manuals and training instructions
* Assisting the test and approval department in comprehensive testing of products
* Technical support to internal teams, including production, engineering, sales & marketing, and other members of the technical support team
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent by industry experience
* Ability to operate under own initiative as well as possessing strong team working skills
* Prior experience resolving complex engineering issues
* Familiarity with server and Hyper-V
* Basic knowledge of Linux
