Sea Lodge - Service Manager 4 (Clinical)
Opened in 2006, Northumberland Supported Living Service (Sea Lodge) is a CQC registered service, currently rated as Good. The service provides nurse led support to two adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Service users have secured tenancy agreements and live in a large, adapted bungalow within its own grounds overlooking the beachin Northumberland.
We are looking for a RNLD (Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities) who has significant clinical experience in a senior post in a relevant setting with the relevant client group to undertake the role, responsibilities and tasks of the Registered Manager as required by CQC in line with the Fundamental Standards and Regulations.

Main duties of the job
The role will include:
1. Managing a full complement of FTE registered nurses and FTE social care staff.
2. Facilitatingand coordinating clinical practice within the servicein accordance withoperational policy to ensurehigh standardsof care and treatment aremaintained.
3. You will need to have knowledge of the clinical needs of adults with learning disabilities including the treatment of behavioural disorders, mental health conditions and have a sound understanding of risk management.
4. You will be committed to keeping service users safe byprovidinga safe and enabling environment for them to live in.
5. You will be expected todemonstratean exemplary practice model to staff. Including delegating work appropriately, providing clear guidance and motivation to staff to
6. support them to achieve serviceobjectivesand quality standards.
Requirements of this role:
7. Must have a RNLD qualification withsignificantpost registration experience
8. Must undertake fit persons interview to become RegisteredManager with CQC
9. Able to work shiftrotas, including weekends and night-time working which might change at short notice.
10. Able to meet the transport requirements of therole
