The successful candidate will assess the financial stability of tenants and suppliers, ensuring sound decisions in lettings and appointments. They will manage key financial reporting items, collaborating with various business units to produce accurate and timely reports and analyses. Their insights will support and challenge operational teams, driving performance and achieving financial goals.
They will play a crucial role in the annual budgeting process, working with operational and commercial teams to model, challenge, and finalize forecasts. Additionally, they will contribute to developing management, operational, and shareholder reporting packages, enhancing current methodologies and processes.
Involvement in financial month-end processes will be essential, identifying and correcting errors, recommending necessary accounting transactions, and performing ad hoc reporting and analysis. Effective communication with all levels within the organization is key, presenting financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance staff.
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with a strong commercial outlook and understanding of accounting principles. Experience in business partnering, data analysis, and financial reporting is essential. Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Word, along with excellent communication skills, is required.
