They are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team and play a key role in securing and pricing high-value projects. The Role As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for structural steel projects. You will analyse specifications, drawings, and contract documents to determine costs, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to produce detailed and well-structured estimates. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates for large-scale structural steel projects Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Analyse material, labour, and production costs to develop detailed tenders Work closely with the commercial, design, and contracts teams to ensure alignment on project scope and feasibility Assist in bid submissions, negotiations, and contract award processes Identify value engineering opportunities to optimise project costs Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator in the structural steel industry Strong understanding of large-scale commercial steel projects, including MOD, nuclear, and renewable energy sectors Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills Ambitious, hardworking, and looking to progress within a major industry player This is an office-based role offering long-term career growth within a well-established and expanding business.
