As the Career Information Advice and Guidance Advisor at HMP Five Wells, you will be responsible for the delivery of a CIAG service to our learners who are in custody. You will support them to make informed career and skills choices using a range of guidance tools to assess their suitability and identify any support required to achieve their goals and to help them transition to life post-release.
This role reports to the Head of Education based onsite at HMP Five Wells, Wellingborough, working 37 hours per week on a permanent, full-time basis.
HMP Five Wells in Wellingborough, costing £253m in 2022, accommodates 1,680 residents. What we need from you
In order to be successful in the role of Careers Information Advice & Guidance Worker, you will need:
* Level 4 Information, Advice, and Guidance qualification (or work towards and achieve within 12 months).
* Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
* Relevant experience conducting initial assessment and supporting learning of individuals and groups.
* Experience of working with groups of learners with a range of abilities.

Successful candidates will be offered a salary of between £24,242.40 to £29,709 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
