About the role:
This role will effectively and efficiently manage the ETOE operations in line with the Operational core values and in accordance with the principles of the Company Mission Statement. You will motivate, coach, lead and develop the team of supervisors and frontline staff to achieve excellent standards of service and deliver cost & quality in line with KPI and operational objectives. Overall responsibility for achieving goals covering operational performance, financial planning, and administrative reporting. You’ll also be responsible for embedding and sustaining a health and safety conscious culture.
Key Role Responsibilities:
1. Develop and coach front line ETOE team through formal review process.
2. Ensure all staff comply with the mail integrity code.
3. Ensure all staff are fully equipped and trained to perform their daily duties, with all trained up to be CES specialists by 2028.
4. Carry out annual & interim appraisals with Sortation centre team and formulate personal development plans in conjunction with the Certified Development Team.
5. Work with supervisory team to ensure there is a structured and clear training and development programme in your sort centre.
6. Hold regular review meetings with key stakeholders such as CGM, Client directors, and site managers.
7. Review financial performance daily, ensuring you are achieving budgeted performance for week, period, quarter, and year.
8. Plan and execute a manpower plan against productivity levels and forecasted mail volumes to ensure appropriate resource is in place.
9. Ensure health and safety policies and procedures along with the employment of safe working practices are adhered to, in line with the company handbook. Ensure areas of risk are assessed and documented.
10. Ensure all sort centre legal compliance records are maintained in line with Company and legal procedures.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 1 year working in a comparable or acting manager role.
2. Knowledge of process management and deployment.
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide, receive and implement operational information and instructions.
