Senior Building Surveyor / Project Manager - Leeds
Package: Salary up to £60,000 plus strong bonus & benefits package
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established consultancy that is looking to hire a Senior Building Surveyor / Project Manager for their Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a chartered professional to join a dynamic team and work with an enviable portfolio of clients across the commercial development sector.
About the Role: As a Senior Building Surveyor / Project Manager, you will play a key role in providing high-quality professional advice to clients. The role is primarily focused on project management and contract administration, but will also involve delivering professional work such as technical due diligence (TDD), dilapidations, schedules of condition, and compliance remediation. You will be involved in high-profile projects that include building safety and fire compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and administer projects across a range of sectors, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Perform project monitoring, technical due diligence, and provide expert advice on building safety and compliance.
3. Carry out commercial surveying work including dilapidations, schedules of condition, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) reporting.
4. Establish and maintain strong client relationships to support business development.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Chartered Surveyor with MRICS qualification.
2. Proven experience in project management and contract administration within a commercial environment.
3. Excellent communication and report writing skills.
4. Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance, particularly in fire safety.
5. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
