Sales Administrator – Gateshead

Hours
* 36-hour workweek with flexible start and finish times: Monday to Thursday: 8:20 AM - 4:30 PM and Friday: 8:20 AM - 1:30 PM - early Friday finish
The role of Sales Administrator:
* Processing and managing customer enquiries through to quotation, ensuring efficient follow-up
* Handling and coordinating sales orders from initial enquiry to delivery
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key accounts
* Managing communications promptly and professionally via phone and email
* Supporting sales and marketing initiatives within the business
* Maintaining the centralised inbox to ensure quick response times
* Escalating technical support enquiries to relevant team via CRM systems
* Providing administrative support to the sales and business development teams
* Preparing reports and documentation as required
* Monitoring pricing and discount strategies to align with business goals
The ideal Sales Administrator:
* Experience in administration, customer service, or order processing
* Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven with a self-starter mindset
* Excellent communication skills - both over the phone and via email
* Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
* Good IT proficiency - experience with Office 365 & CRM systems is a plus
