Finance Manager
Location: Longbow, Shrewsbury (potential to work from home 1 day a week)
Salary: £45,000pa to £50,000pa
Contract Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

We provide 24/7 urgent primary care services for patients across Powys, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Lancashire, including out of hours service GP, care coordination, single point of access in Shropshire, and an oncology advice line.

Role Overview: Are you a dynamic and results-driven finance professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence across our organisation. Whether you are CCAB qualified or qualified by experience, we welcome your application.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, systems, and processes.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making and drive business growth.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to meet organisational needs.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Supervise and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
• CCAB qualification or substantial experience in a similar finance management role.
• Proven track record of managing financial operations, budgets, and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record in management and supervision of staff, with the ability to inspire and
guide the team towards achieving collative goals.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
