People / HR Projects Implementor

The People HR Projects Implementor is a hands-on, individual contributor role positioned at the core of the function. Working closely with the VP, People, this tactical/operational role is primarily focused on the implementation of the new HRIS/HRM platform. Additionally, the role is accountable for delivering a range of generalist projects and initiatives, including establishing foundational HR processes and overseeing benefits selection and administration.
This role would suit a HR Manager / Generalist who is looking to move away from employee-centric activity, and focus on building and evolving every aspect of an HR function.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementation of new HRM platform
1. This change programme is already underway; We are sunsetting 5 disparate, siloed systems (HRIS), (ATS), (LMS), (Performance Management systems) and (Time & Attendance), and launching a fully integrated single platform. Working closely with the VP, People and our PMO you will collaborate with all functions of the business to gather requirements insights, help build the new system, work with the business on user-acceptance training, and launch the platform, driving adoption. The role will also be a systems-admin of the system post launch.
2. The successful candidate must be able to operate strategically and tactically, understand the requirements of the people stream elements and requirements of an HRIS implementation project, as well as operate and deliver the operational and administrative elements of the project. This will require proficient excel skills, to help complete the various workbooks and templates needed to build the various modules of the new platform.
Other Initiatives include:
Benefits Management:
Lead the consolidation of benefits across all ESP territories, ensuring accurate documentation of scope, coverage, and provider details. Proactively manage contract renewals with procurement and identify coverage gaps or under-utilised benefits for review. Collaborate with Recruitment to produce country-specific benefits guides for candidates.
Cost Calculators:
Work with Payroll to ensure employee cost data is accurate for inclusion in cost calculators used in competitive bid tendering.
Line Manager Training:
Develop and deliver training initiatives with People Advisers and Business Partners to enhance global management capability.
Reward and Recognition:
Drive a global review of reward and recognition processes, proposing improvements to boost employee engagement.
Learning and Development:
Support the evolution of the organisation’s grading structure by creating job families, defining competencies, and establishing career pathways to drive talent development.
Employee Satisfaction Survey:
Design and implement an annual employee satisfaction survey, driving action planning and engaging leadership at all levels.
Skills & Experience:
3. CIPD level 5, and an operation ground across HR
4. Some understanding of organisational change theory & practice, and supporting people through change.
5. Experience of implementing HR information systems platforms. Any UKG Ready or Cascade experience will be an advantage.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manipulate and consolidate data from various sources.
7. Experience in researching, drafting improving new and existing employment policies in light of new working practices, changes in statute etc.
8. Communications via HR workspace (Workvivo desirable), on all aspects of HR-initiatives delivered into the business, showcasing our function’s success.
9. TUPE harmonisation – assisting the HR advisers and business partners, this role will provide contract analysis and consultation support to a variety of TUPE harmonisation programmes.
