About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality science lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation & Setup: Organise and prepare equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical science lessons.
2. Health & Safety: Ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and equipment in compliance with regulations.
3. Practical Support: Assist teaching staff during practical sessions and demonstrations as needed.
4. Lab Maintenance: Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring labs are well-organised and fully stocked.
5. Safety Compliance: Conduct regular safety checks and maintain adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
1. A strong interest in science and knowledge of laboratory procedures in a school.
2. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
3. A proactive, supportive attitude when working with teaching staff and students.
4. Basic IT skills with a willingness to learn new systems.
5. Understanding of health and safety regulations in a lab environment.
