Job Summary
My clients are looking for a highly motivated Telemarketer to join their friendly team
Your primary goal will be to convert project-specific leads into a request for quotation from the customer. The role is B2B and will require leveraging your communication skills and persistence to engage these customers and drive enquiries through phone interactions.
You will also be required to build rapport with these customers through clear and persuasive communication, gathering information about their needs and preferences.

Objectives
– Conduct enough positive customer interactions about specific projects to generate enquires for quotation.
– Generate enough enquiries to meet sales targets.
– Build rapport with prospects and existing customers to ensure all potential sales opportunities are captured.
– Gain industry and market insights from customers that can be shared with the leadership team in view of building and improving sales strategies.
– Achieving or exceeding individual targets.
Responsibilities
– Carry out enough outbound calls to generate the needed positive interactions to meet or exceed target.
– Overcoming objections and relentlessly following up leads and opportunities to generate enough enquiries to meet sales targets.
– Identify and qualify potential leads, analysing them to ensure they meet our target profile.
– Capture essential customer information and assess their needs.
– Build relationships with strategic personnel in target market.
– Updating the Customer Relationship Management system with all communications and up-to-date customer records.
– Managing your section of the sales pipeline with accurate win probabilities and order close dates.
– Identifying new market opportunities and working with existing team to analyse and develop them.
– Following through opportunities by creative means to move them forward when usual channels of information don’t provide necessary information.
– Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends and competitor offerings to best position our products or services in the market.
Skills
– Minimum of 1 year experience in sales/telemarketing/business development
– Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear and confident phone manner, with the ability to articulate company features and benefits persuasively.
– Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection and objections.
– Maintaining motivation in the role.
– Understanding of and willingness to learn about the industry.
– Inquisitive and creative in seeking out leads and opportunities.
– Fluent in English language.
– Computer literate.
– Organisational skills to manage customer information and follow-up activities.
– Professional, positive and appreciative manner in all customer and colleague interactions.
– Expeditious with the ability to adapt to changing sales strategies and market dynamics.
– Ability to listen and hear the customer.
Hours/Location
Hybrid working location. Minimum requirement to attend office once a week. Hours are estimated at needing to be 5 – 6 hours to meet targets but not fixed if targets achieved or exceeded in less.
Salary
Numbers based salary of £20,000.00, assuming a 5.5 hour day will be required to meet the call targets. Potential to grow into a bonus scheme subject to probation period.
