NRL’s client in Macclesfield is seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer to support their local projects team with instrument design and consulting services on a 6-month contract inside IR35. You will play a key role in delivering pharmaceutical projects, including PLC upgrades, DCS migrations, and functional safety enhancements. This role requires strong technical expertise, autonomy, and excellent communication skills.
What you will need:
* Strong experience in instrumentation design within the pharmaceutical sector.
* HNC or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
* IEC 61511 functional safety qualification and experience in SIL documentation.
* Strong knowledge of E&I design best practices and CDM Regulations 2015.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, with familiarity in Navisworks/Revit being advantageous.
