Our client, a charity dedicated to the spinal cord injuries communiy, is seeking a Community Engagement Officer. In this role you will build relationships with fundraisers in local communities across the UK to generate income, engage supporters and raise awareness of the charity’s wider work. In close collaboration with the Supporter Engagement Manager, this role will help to grow, diversify, and sustain fundraising income as part of the wider business development team, feeding into the charity's 2030 strategy. Community Engagement OfficerContract: Permanent Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with inbuilt flexibility Location: HQMilton Keynes, with hybrid working (expectation of three days per week in the office) Salary: £29,216 per annum About the Role As a Community Engagement Officer, you will work with individuals and groups as an ambassador for the cause securing support for this charity through excellent relationship management. In this role, you will support the growth and development of community fundraising activities, both locally and nationally, securing voluntary income to fund crucial services for the spinal cord injury community. As part of the Investments and Partnerships team, you will build relationships with individuals, groups and community organisations and support their fundraising activities, as well as identify local Charity of the Year opportunities. You will also work with the Supporter Engagement Manager to establish engaged and supported regional fundraising groups, working collaboratively with other teams across the charity, as well as external colleagues in the wider network.
