We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to work in the (light) Commercial Ventilation Sector, selling through the Contractor & Merchant Channels.
Experience in HVAC is desired but not essential as the most important element is that you can 'open doors' through these channels. If you are from a related field and have a hunger for sales success then this is more important that being a ventilation expert as you will receive full product training. Although the HVAC is not critical, we will need you have experience in working with either M&E Contractors or/and the associated Merchant and Distribution partners that the contractors procure through.
In order to qualify from a geographical point of view, you will need to be living in one of the following areas:
1. East Midlands
2. East Anglia / Northampton / Cambridge / Norwich
3. East London or the Southeast.
The role:
* As the Area Sales Manager, you will report to the Distribution Sales Director.
* The role will be responsible for managing a territory - by developing customer relationships with M&E Contractors & HVAC distributors
* A technical understanding and experience of commercial ventilation units is desirable.
* Indirect selling experience to HVAC Distribution via contractors would be beneficial
* Delivering training sessions and gaining stockist agreements with distribution
* Building a customer database and a pipeline will be essential to this role using existing contacts and in house database.
The reward:
* £50K basic salary
* Up to 22% bonus, paid quarterly
