Job Description:

The Finance Manager is responsible for the monthly management reporting and consolidation process for the Arora Hotels & Golf business. The role also includes managing the annual budget process, overseeing the external audit process, and preparing the statutory accounts.
As a key member of the Group Finance team, the Finance Manager will drive process improvement, efficiencies, and business transformation through the development and implementation of new systems, policies, procedures, and controls.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop a strong understanding of how each hotel and the golf club operates, including a clear appreciation of their main revenue streams, cost drivers, and points of difference.
2. Manage the month-end Hotels & Golf reporting and consolidation process including regular reviews of reporting timetables, templates, and deliverables to ensure the process is as efficient and meaningful.
3. Review and provide feedback on monthly P&L and balance sheet narratives for each hotel and the golf club.
4. Perform regular reviews of balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with policy.
5. Oversee the cash flow positions and cash forecasts for each hotel and the golf club.
6. Review and approve credit requests and capex submissions.
7. Oversee the management accounting for the hotel property companies.
8. Manage the annual budget process for the hotels and golf club.
9. Manage the external audit process for hotels, golf club, and hotel property companies, providing support where required.
10. Prepare the statutory accounts for the hotels, golf club, and hotel property companies.
11. Assist with the hotels statutory consolidation.
12. Provide operational support for the hotels and golf club with regular on-site interactions with the local finance teams.
13. Develop new systems, policies, procedures, controls and manage their implementation.
14. Play an active role in the business transformation and be an advocate for change and improvement.
About You
1. Fully Qualified Accountant, ACA or ACCA with 5+ years PQE
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics finance package is advantageous
4. Experience in management accounting and reporting, ideally in the hospitality industry
5. Experience in statutory audit and reporting
6. Experience reviewing and analysing data with excellent attention to detail
7. Organised and methodical with strong time management and planning skills
8. Strong communication skills both in writing and orally with experience in business partnering and managing stakeholders
9. Proactive and demonstrates initiative
10. Curious with skills in problem solving and process improvement
11. Comfortable working under pressure, takes pride in their own work and is confident delivering responsibilities with minimum supervision
12. This role will require you to be in the office 5 days per week.
