The Role:
Property Services is a Hampshire County Council in-house team of multi-disciplinary construction professionals and specialist support staff delivering a range of property functions ranging from new build, refurbishments, and extensions through to maintenance and compliance activities. It encompasses the council's estate and those of our partner organisations and will include schools, offices, libraries, fire stations and police premises.
In this role you will be responsible for the design and delivery of planned mechanical services improvements/extensions and repairs including supervising works on site for a range of public buildings.
You will be able to provide advice on mechanical services related matters and respond to defects/identified faults/emergency situations and organise remedial solutions to the built estate on behalf of the County Council, ensuring that buildings and sites are safe to occupy and remain open to maintain essential services.
As part of the role you will carry out effective client liaison which could be schools, care homes, libraries, countryside estate, or external clients.
