We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic band 5 practitioner to come and join the CAST Team. CASTT is our service which supports service users with complex emotional needs in order to develop skills in order to work towards their recovery. The team offer psychological interventions including SCM and MBT. The band 5 role will primarily be focused on short term key working in order to support service users to address any practical barriers to engaging in therapy. There will be opportunity to develop within the role, including accessing SCM training, taking part in SCM skills groups, undertaking coaching calls and engaging in all the psychological support structures delivered to the therapies team. Successful candidates will work well as part of an MDT approach, be calm and resilient and have strong risk management and reflective skills.
Main duties of the job
To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary community team providing Mental Health Assessment, Treatment and interventions to services users with a diagnosed of Personality Disorder or those who have significant indicators of the disorder.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of Treatment and recovery based care programmes and the setting of standards of care to service users and their families.
The maintenance of positive working relationships and liaison with other departments, agencies and bodies both internal and external to the trust is critical to the successful application of this role.

Job responsibilities
To have the responsibility for the delivery of Mental Health services to specific individuals.
Coordinating clinical activity, liaison with the wider Adult Community Mental Health Teams and other appropriate teams, services and agencies.
Immediate problem solving and decision making and contributing to long term planning for future developments both within the immediate clinical area and within the service area.
To ensure that the values and principles of the organisation and of the service area are translated into the philosophy and operational policy of the clinical team and that these are evident in everyday practice.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year pro rata per annum
