The Role:
As Business Analyst and Marketing Specialist at JHA, you will play a crucial role in driving our firm's growth and market presence. You will work closely with all our lawyers and barristers to ensure that all their successes are loaded into a central database – allowing us to create a virtual, real-time Brochure of what the firm has achieved.
This is the first role of its kind for the firm. This role focuses on empowering our lawyers to effectively promote the firm, supporting our overall marketing strategy, and directly contributing to lead generation and client success. We are looking for an accomplished individual with proven marketing or strong project management skills in a similar role. You will need strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to motivate and support senior professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing trusted relationships with our fee-earners
* Ensuring every element of their work (past and present) is accounted for and understood by you
* Creating a database from the ground up, keeping it updated and making it easy to understand
* Building data visualisations so that it can be shared with potential customers depending on their industry or interests
* Creating and preparing marketing materials based on the information gathered
* Analysing and reporting on the success of marketing and sales activities, providing data-driven insights
* Suggesting strategies to enhance the firm's brand and market presence
* Training and guiding our staff in their marketing and sales activities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Previous experience in a similar role of building strong relationships, gathering information, and building a database from scratch
* Comfortable with working independently and being accountable for these tasks
* Proven experience in marketing, preferably in professional services (e.g., law, accounting, consulting)
* Experience with database management, generating reports, and creating marketing materials
* A keen interest in data and how it can be used
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with and influence senior professionals
* Strong project management and organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex information accurately
* Creative approach to problem-solving
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
