The Role
Are you passionate about providing engaging and nurturing care for young children? Walhampton is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated After-School Care Coordinator to join our dynamic Pre-Prep department, working with children aged 2 to 7 years. The successful candidate will be a creative, adaptable individual who thrives in a stimulating and supportive environment. This role is mainly after school based, but the successful candidate will be expected to attend meetings and training at other times where necessary. Key Responsibilities:
* Organise, coordinate, and deliver after school care, ensuring the best possible environment and care for the children.
* Develop a stimulating and diverse daily programme, providing positive experiences and interactions for all pupils attending ASC.
* Lead and set up after school activities.
* Assist in the handover times between school finishing and After School Care starting.
* Organise and maintain equipment and resources used in ASC.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance at After School Care.
* Develop strong partnerships between home and school.
* Provide parents with information about activities and experiences offered in ASC.
* Be aware of and respond to the medical needs of children.
Hours of work will be 2:30pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.
