Health Safety & Environment Manager - Oxfordshire/Hybrid - £60-70K
Austin Fraser is currently supporting an innovative and growing manufacturing organisation who are looking for an experienced Health Safety & Environment Manager in Oxfordshire.
They are looking for this individual to play a key role in shaping and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management across the organization, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry standards.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a Health and Safety Manager or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
2. NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or equivalent certification required.
3. Experience in Health Safety and Environmental Management systems and procedures.
4. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, HSE).
5. Experience with safe working practices including conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
6. A good understanding with current legislation and its impact on the business.
7. Proficiency in health and safety management software and MS Office Suite.
8. Competent in developing systems and procedures.
Additional Information:
The role will require occasional travel between sites. The HSE Manager will oversee two direct reports and support the executive team in HS&E matters.
Location: Oxfordshire/Hybrid
Salary: up to £70K depending on experience
