A well-established IT support company with customers all over the world is recruiting an experienced Finance Bookkeeper. They are a friendly close-knit team of 13, offer hybrid working (2 days in the office), and often get together for team building events.
We seek an experienced bookkeeper with a strong finance and IT background. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bookkeeping and financial management, along with IT systems and software experience. This is not an entry-level position; we need someone ready to contribute from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform regular bank reconciliations.
* Maintain customer information, asset lists, and manage Microsoft subscriptions.
* Answer customer and supplier queries via phone and email.
* Process AP invoices and set up supplier payments.
* Provide payroll information to an external provider, set up payslip payments, and create payroll journals in Xero.
* Process AR invoices, create monthly support and labour invoices, and set up direct debit collections.
* Submit quarterly VAT returns through Xero.
* Liaise with external accountants on year-end accounts.
Qualifications:
1. Relevant certifications (AAT or ICB Bookkeeping) are a plus.
2. Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Xero) and Excel.
