Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Services Project Manager located in Omagh. The Technical Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing technical support, troubleshooting, customer service, and training activities on a day-to-day basis.
This is a permanent position offering a salary depending on experience. The role is ideally suited to an experienced individual who is looking to join the existing Project Management team as a Technical Services Manager but with a view on longer term growth within the company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Effective running of site activities, ensuring productivity.
* Manage and coordinate the completion of the project before, during and after the installation phase.
* Ensure the highest SHEQ standards are achieved.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant technical aspects within company and industry standards.
* Ensure compliance with project contract requirements.
* Project planning, developing the project programme and resource management.
* Develop project quality documentation and management plans.
* Develop project health and safety documentation and management plans.
* Ensure effective cost and sales control in conjunction with the commercial team.
* Ensure the delivery of the project within the given constraints of time and cost.
* Liaise with and attend meetings with the client.
* Chair weekly internal project progress meetings.
* Submit internal project summary reports to the Directors.
* Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately using the company’s document management systems.
* Ensure project handover requirements are met.
The ideal candidate will be:
* Degree Qualified in Engineering, Construction, or relevant similar qualification in Project Management.
* Contract administration experience.
* Management experience from design to handover.
* An effective communicator at all levels; able to develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational, planning and people management skills.
* Actively share best practice and promote innovation.
* Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Projects, Share Point and the full office package.
