Your key responsibilities will include: Advising clients on all aspects of Private Family Law, including child-related disputes, divorce proceedings, financial remedy negotiations, injunctive applications, disputes between unmarried couples, and pre- and post-marital agreements. Independently managing a busy caseload with appropriate support where required. Conducting advocacy in the Family Court where appropriate. Providing high-quality client service with a sensitive and sympathetic approach. Ensuring strict compliance with file and risk management policies. Engaging in business development and marketing activities to promote the firm. Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues as required. About You: To succeed in this role, you will need: A qualified solicitor or CILEx lawyer with at least 10 years PQE. Proven experience working in private practice, advising clients on a range of family law matters. A strong track record of handling matrimonial financial cases, including business accounting and pension-related issues. Advocacy experience in the Family Court (preferred but not essential). Exceptional client care skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively. Strong analytical, organisational, and IT skills (experience with Microsoft Office and a legal document management system is preferred). A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commercial mindset. The ability to travel between offices and attend meetings when required (full driving licence preferred but not essential).
