The role The role will require the development and delivery of a 3-year Economic Action Plan, interfacing with all key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and agreement of the prioritised projects. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Nuclear Regeneration Services (NRS) who are a key funder and partner within the Romney Marsh Partnership, and the Chair of the Romney Marsh Partnership. The projects will require securing external funding and therefore experience in successful bid writing is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided. The successful candidate will also be expected to write reports and provide other key information as required by the Chief Officer for Place and Growth at FHDC and produce timely reports to NRS as part of the funding requirements. The role will be expected to be the key point of contact with the Nuclear Power Station at Dungeness, sitting on various forums helping and facilitating work relating to the New Nuclear industry. Experience in this area is an advantage but not critical. About You We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive, articulate, project manager with economic project experience. The role requires someone who is an excellent communicator and is comfortable dealing with senior company representatives to get buy in and projects delivered. The ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels of people up to senior leaders in essential. We are looking for someone with qualifications in either Economic Development and Project management or, extensive experience in one or both of those areas.
