As a member of the Revenue & FX team, you will be a pro-active and results driven individual able to balance multiple deliverables and prioritise your work whilst satisfying a strict control environment by retaining the highest standards of governance. Ideally you will have experience in working within a busy shared services function of a similar organisation.
This role could suit an experienced Part Qualified Finance/Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge within a Global organisation with great career and development opportunities.
This role is office based in Witham but does offer hybrid working.
We will count on you to:
1. Journal creation, review & approvals
2. Balance sheet reconciliation review & approval
3. Revenue system interface checking
4. Intercompany loan entries and reconciliations
5. Hedging entries and reconciliations
6. Foreign Exchange analysis
7. Foreign Currency exposure reporting
8. Foreign Currency trading in line with exposures
9. Bad Debt calculations and reconciliations
10. Cancellation reserves and reconciliations
11. Revenue accrual & deferral analysis
12. Fiduciary reconciliations to sub ledger
13. Project code analysis
14. AD Hoc project work as required
What you need to have:
1. Part/Qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
2. Intermediate skills in Excel
3. Flexible and team player - able to develop close partnerships with onshore and offshore colleagues.
4. Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and deliver results to short timescales.
5. Previous proven ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest and implement process improvements.
What makes you stand out:
1. Prior experience of Oracle and HFM (preferred but not essential).
2. Experience in large organization or service center.
3. Experience working with foreign currency.
