Anzuk are working with Specialist Provisions within Taunton who are seeking Learning Mentors to join their expanding teams!
The provision:
SEMH settings catering to students who have been or are at risk of exclusions from other settings due to their exceptionally complex behavioural needs. Our provisions provide bespoke learning programmes and positive behaviour support for small groups of students that have a variety of learning difficulties tied in with exceptionally challenging behaviours.
The Role - Learning Mentor (Taunton) - (£90 - £127.41 per day)
The school are looking to fill permanent roles - assessed after initial settling in phase
Working with a well trained team of staff in supporting extreme challenging behaviours - Full training will be provided
Supporting students on a 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 basis
Working with Children who would have SEMH, ASC and Sensory processing difficulties Essential Requirements for a Learning Mentor:
Experience working with challenging behaviour, either within education, healthcare, or other equivalent alternatives
The school have specified a C in English and Maths at GCSE is required
Right To Work in the UK, and currently resides in or close to Taunton, UK
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service, or a willingness to gain one
Desirable - Teach Teach level 2 or similar positive behaviour management training
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community
Flexibility to work across all age ranges as we can't guarantee age groups for these bookings ** Sponsorship is not available for this role **
