Job Summary
Are you a social-first strategist and client leader with a track record of delivering outstanding social campaigns for global brands? We're looking for a Social Account Director to join a top London social agency on a 6-month contract, leading high-profile projects for a major tech company.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape social strategies, oversee multi-platform campaigns, and drive engagement at scale. You'll be responsible for leading client relationships, managing teams, and ensuring world-class execution of innovative social-first work.
The Role
* Client Leadership: Own senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on all things social.
* Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement high-impact social strategies that align with brand goals and audience insights.
* Campaign Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of integrated social campaigns, ensuring seamless execution across platforms.
* Creative & Editorial Direction: Guide content and editorial teams to produce engaging, on-brand social content.
* Performance & Insights: Track key metrics, provide strategic recommendations, and ensure continuous improvement in campaign performance.
* Team & Stakeholder Management: Oversee and mentor account teams, fostering collaboration between creatives, strategists, and community managers.
* Innovation & Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of platform trends, social innovations, and emerging technologies to drive best-in-class work.
What You Bring
* 5+ years of experience in social media account management within an agency setting.
* A proven ability to develop and lead social-first strategies for global brands.
* Experience managing large scale, multi-platform social campaigns from concept to completion.
* Exceptional client management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
* A deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience behaviours, particularly within the tech sector.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing talent.
* Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
* A proactive, solutions-driven approach with a passion for delivering standout social campaigns.
