This is a globally recognised and growing leisure and sport business based in London. They are renowned for their international sporting events loved by millions worldwide.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their high-performing commercial team by recruiting a talented FP&A Analyst to join the function. This role will be based 4 days in office.
Role
The FP&A Analyst for this sports business based in London, will work closely with the FP&A Director in analysing data sets and development of long term plans. They will take ownership on a number of key duties including:
* Assist in the development of cashflow models for investors and support funding requests.
* Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts ensuring accuracy.
* Prepare monthly financial reports across performance including variance analysis against budgets/forecasts.
* Prepare and present reports and analysis to key stakeholders including senior leadership.
* Identify trends and potential risks in monthly cash results.
* Support on actionable insights for key business decisions.
* Additional ad hoc work across the wider finance team.
Profile
The ideal profile for this FP&A Analyst position, should have the following key attributes:
* Ideally 2+ years of experience in a similar analytical capacity.
* Actively studying towards a recognised qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Experience in dealing with large data sets and financial models.
* Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
