An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Integrated Commissioning and Public Health Team as a Sexual Health Commissioning Officer. As the Sexual Health Commissioning Officer, you will be working with local health services and voluntary organisations to support the design and delivery of services and improve health outcomes for local residents.
You would be joining a small team, in a role that offers an interesting and varied day to day working experience, including the development and implementation of strategic plans, design and reviewing of services and supporting service user engagement. You will play a crucial role in improving outcomes for the local community, both strategically and operationally as you coordinate programmes of work and develop systems and processes.
We are looking for a confident individual, with the experience of commissioning, procurement and contracting, who can evidence independent working, with excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience in Public Health is also desirable.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
