Ardingly College is seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join our busy School Office team. The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent administrative support to Prep and Senior School offices, working across the College site.
The role consists of providing essential administrative support, monitoring registration and dealing with other administrative duties whilst also providing a front of house presence for School visitors.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level, with previous administrative experience of working in a busy school office environment. They should have excellent customer service skills and be IT literate in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook. Attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure are also key skills for this role. Ideally candidates will have experience of using iSAMS and/or other student information management systems, however this is not essential and full training will be provided.
Working hours are 40 hours per week (including a 30 minute paid lunch break), Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5.30pm (core office hours), for 40 weeks per year (term time only plus six additional weeks). However, we would also consider applications from those seeking part-time hours.
Salary: £21,984 per annum.
