Your core duties will include: Leading and developing a team of shift engineers through mentoring, appraisals, and performance management Overseeing the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support Ensuring compliance with all site health and safety requirements Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant performance and energy use Coordinating with contractors and third-party engineers on-site Supporting the integration of new equipment and technologies Working collaboratively with technical and project teams to maintain audit-readiness and production efficiency Managing team workload, capacity planning, and resourcing effectively Building strong working relationships across departments to ensure alignment and results ________________________________________ What We're Looking For: Essential: Proven experience in a similar engineering leadership role Time-served multi-skilled engineer (electrical or mechanical) Ability to manage, motivate, and develop technical teams Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach when needed.
