Description:
GVR Solutions is currently representing a well-established main contractor based in Essex. The company primarily works within the Housing Association sector, providing planned and reactive maintenance services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Implement and enforce the Health and Safety policy of the Company.
* Take full ownership of projects, ensuring they meet expectations.
* Maintain accurate records and effectively communicate project information.
* Develop oneself and others by identifying opportunities for growth.
* Comply with quality assurance procedures and systems.
* Liaise with customers to ensure smooth project execution.
* Delegate and communicate efficiently and effectively.
* Operate in a confidential and professional manner.
* Work proactively and adopt a solution-oriented approach.
* Manage time effectively to achieve objectives.
* Induct new employees to ensure they meet standards.
* Foster effective working relationships between Contracts Managers, Supervisors, Subcontractors, and Operatives.
Requirements:
* Experience working on planned and reactive maintenance projects.
* Experience working on framework contracts.
* Experience working on refurbishment contracts.
* Proficiency in IT, including Word, Excel, and Email.
* Minimum HNC or HND qualification or NVQ Level 6 minimum.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong Health and Safety Skills.
* Good numeracy skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective meeting management.
* Negotiation skills.
* Objective setting.
* Recruitment and selection.
* Appraisal skills.
* CSCS Black Card Holder.
* First Aid qualifications are desirable.
* A degree/HNC in a related subject would be advantageous.
* 5-day CITB Health & Safety Qualification.
Salary:
Around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
