The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen at NHS Education for Scotland (NES) for a Dental Vocational Training Adviser to devise and coordinate a Dental Vocational Training Educational Programme in Scotland. This will initially be based in Edinburgh Dental Education Centre (EDEC) but may require working from another NES site in the future.
The successful candidate will work as part of our national team of Vocational Training (VT) Advisers and will have responsibility for a Dental Vocational Training Scheme. The post will be equivalent to 3 sessions (12 hours) per week.
Interested candidates should be able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to clinical dentistry in general practice. The successful candidate will be expected to have experience of general practice management and be able to demonstrate relevant and current knowledge of Vocational Training.
