Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate KS2 pupils
* Provide a balanced curriculum, focusing on both academic and personal development
* Prepare pupils for their end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), ensuring high standards of progress and achievement
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential
* Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupils' learning experience
* Participate in whole-school events, extra-curricular activities, and staff meetings
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, particularly in literacy and numeracy
* Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of all pupils
* Passion for developing children's confidence, resilience, and love for learning
* Excellent classroom management skills with a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour
* Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Ability to supply two years' worth of references
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working with parents and the wider school community
