ATTENDANCE OFFICER Grade 6 Scale £25,134.37 - £28,825.95 £15.08 - £17.29 per hour 37 hours per week Term Time Permanent Contract plus 5 inset days. 39 weeks Required for April 2025 This is a brand new role working for The Lighthouse Federation as the Attendance Officer. The Governors wish to appoint a highly committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join our Central Team. Would you like to make a difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a dynamic individual to support students and parents in promoting a positive culture around attendance and punctuality. You will be expected to: • Provide advice, support and guidance • To recognise the needs of the individual student • To form strong relationships with parents, students and colleagues • Good communication skills and team work. • To oversee the school's attendance procedures, ensuring that official registers are accurately maintained and attendance trends are monitored and to reduce any levels of unauthorised absence which reflect the policies and values of The Lighthouse Federation. You will report directly to the COO and Safeguarding & Attendance Manager. You will be able to work with integrity and display sound judgement, respecting confidentiality at all times and must possess the confidence to work with young people, as well as parents. This role will involve home visits and liaising with external agencies. Experience in working in a school setting would be desirable.
