My brother has always been very independent and due to changes as a result of his Dementia is struggling to come to terms with requiring support. My brother has become very isolated and this has impacted on his mood and mental health. Support would be expected to start slowly and the PA would be required to initially visit my brother in his apartment and gradually build a relationship, with a view to moving out into the community.
