What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a professional and experienced Operations Support Manager, whose objective is to support the Operation Managers in all aspects of Operational performance and KPI delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure all operational metrics are met: H&S, labour cost, production yields, giveaway, plan attainment, PPM, Quality standards
2. Help run an effective DRM & PMR meeting with engagement
3. Business improvements using change management and CI tools
4. Coaching and Matrix management across the team
5. Be able to influence the team to drive the best results for the business
6. Lead a business-wide H&S culture through management and compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislations
7. Product conformance to the high standard for Food Safety and Quality standards
8. Organise the operations team to ensure the highest possible efficiencies
9. Ensure full integration with supporting functions i.e., engineering, Quality, supply chain etc.
10. Identify numerous PMR projects which will improve our business
11. Ensure an effective training program is delivered
12. Help implement Asset Care across all lines
13. Cover Operations Managers holidays
14. To champion and uphold the standards and practices of the ETI base code within the team and wider business, reporting and resolving any situations that may arise in the workplace where a standard is not being met
Required experience/expertise to succeed as an Operations Support Manager will include:
1. Proven technical and management experience
2. Ability to liaise with the site management teams
3. Experience in HACCP and quality management systems
4. Ensure effective lines of communication are in place within all groups
5. Pro-actively engage the Technical Management team with ideas for development
