We are looking for an experienced and innovative Deputy Chief Allied Health Professions Officer to join our senior leadership team. Supporting our CAHPO you will deputise at the Trust's Executive Team and Board in this exciting AHP leadership opportunity.
The Deputy CAHPO will hold a diverse portfolio directly aligned to our key strategic objectives including the transformation of intermediate care, the optimisation of the AHP workforce and the AHP quality & safety and research agendas.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* HCPC registration as a relevant Allied Health Professional
* Highly specialist, advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of a range of AHP procedures acquired through a doctorate or equivalent relevant experience, plus further significant in-depth continuous professional development eg Masters level education and additional relevant training and qualifications
* Management qualification or completion of senior level leadership programme
* Quality improvement training and/or qualification
Knowledge and Experience
* Extensive, successful track record of leadership and achievement at senior AHP level working within health or care settings
* Extensive experience of leading and effectively managing change in large, complex environments with a range of key stakeholders
* Experience of building effective system partnerships and delivering change through partnership working
* Significant experience of quality assurance and quality improvement
* Significant experience in management and leadership of quality and safety / clinical governance of AHP services
* Experience of leadership and implementation of AHP research strategy
Skills & abilities
* A passion and commitment to improve standards of patient care, particularly in conjunction with service users via a co-design approach
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate highly complex information where exceptional influencing skills are required and where barriers to understanding and acceptance exist
