As a Team Leader you will be expected to support the Assistant Manager with the day-to-day operation throughout the Kaboodle Holiday Inn Express Derry, ensuring the highest level of service is offered to all guests. The role requires energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for creating a fun, welcoming environment and the ability to lead a team. Key Responsibilities : To supervise and assist in all operations from the activities, food service and bar operations. To supervise the activities of the Food and Beverage team members, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and performing duties to a high standard. To be familiar with the day to day business, so that you can prepare the team and be ready for action To serve food and drinks and give excellent customer service, being a role model to the team demonstrating great hospitality To have a visible presence within the bar to ensure that all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and to keep all areas clean and tidy at all times To deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Training and motivating team members. Ensuring all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out correctly. Ensure the team are meeting set criteria, through confirming that all employees consistently achieve product and hospitality service standards. Ensure that Company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained within all food and beverage areas. Support the Assistant Manager in encouraging and developing the food and beverage team. What we are looking for: Supervisory experience or be a strong Restaurant / Bar team member looking to take on additional responsibility Great communication skills so you can chat to our guests and of course the team Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ability to recognise what our customers want and need and be able to provide it.
