This position will support the European Head of Property, the Country Commercial leads and their teams, as well as aligning with global Property functions in the administration of Aesop’s Retail Property portfolio. Utilising their understanding of retail property, this role will contribute to providing an end-to-end property service to our European business.
This role is based at our Aesop Head Office in London, operates at the Mid-level and will contribute to the success of Aesop’s unique retail experience and landscape.
Role Responsibilities:
* Focus on administering the existing Aesop property portfolio in Europe, identifying opportunities to drive value.
* Through landlord management, actively delivering lease optimisation, efficiencies and providing recommendations based on market intelligence.
* Support the Head of Property with the compilation of regular leasing reports, presentations, maintaining all in-house property tools.
* Creation and management of approval documentation.
* Maintaining accurate lease data, utilising our property management platform.
* Accurate monitoring of all property expenditure, identifying efficiencies and target savings.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all property projects are accurately and timeously delivered.
* Support the Head of Property in the negotiation of new locations, relocations, optimisations, and lease renewals.
* Working in conjunction with legal partners and external third-party advisors to deliver market leading standards.
* Liaise and partner closely with the Global Property Director and property functions in other regions, seeking and driving common real estate goals.

* Bachelor’s degree in property related subject, or the equivalent experience.
* Highly organised with experience managing external stakeholders including commercial agents, project managers and solicitors.
* Knowledge of retail landlord and tenant law and property regulations.
* Progressive experience in retail property.
* Commercially focused with proven ability to build and maintain relationships cross functionally.
* Demonstrable problem solving and process improvement skills.

This is a full-time position operating with a hybrid working pattern, including 3 days on-site per week at Aesop’s Global Head Office, based in London Bridge.
