We are looking for a Senior Surveyor to join our team on a permanent, full-time contract, working 36 hours per week. The role can be based at Wrest Park, or home/hybrid working in the South-East of England.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is a RICS qualified Property Surveyor with post qualification experience.
Responsibilities:
As Senior Surveyor, you will manage the estates of English Heritage (acquisitions, disposals, licences and leases, wayleaves, rates etc.) and deliver rental income while proposing optimum commercial use of the assets in our care. You will provide inspirational leadership, setting the tone and direction for your team, develop talent, support training needs, and inspire a culture of continuous improvement. You will also lead on the management and development of our tenants at Wrest Park and deal with any enquiries regarding tenancies.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered as a Senior Surveyor, you'll need experience:
1. Leading a team
2. Managing a range of estates surveying issues including at least one of the following specialist areas: landlord and tenant management or planning and development management
3. Commercial awareness and budget management skills
4. Experience of casework, writing briefs, preparing reports, using information from a variety of sources.
