Role Overview
As the Director of Business Development, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing high-value relationships, and driving revenue growth. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with deep expertise in payment technology, fintech, or SaaS sales. You will work remotely, with occasional travel for key meetings and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify & Develop Partnerships: Drive strategic growth by securing new enterprise-level clients and partnerships within targeted industries (e.g., hospitality, retail, e-commerce, and gaming).
* Sales & Revenue Growth: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring high conversion rates and revenue growth.
* Market Expansion: Research industry trends and competitors to identify untapped market opportunities and develop actionable growth strategies.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
* Pipeline & Performance Management: Track and optimize sales performance, reporting directly to senior leadership on progress and key metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven Sales Leadership: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within fintech, payment processing, or SaaS.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify new market opportunities and develop long-term growth strategies.
* Strong Negotiation Skills: Experience closing large enterprise deals and managing complex sales cycles.
* Industry Knowledge: Understanding of payment technology, financial services, and emerging trends in digital commerce.
* Excellent Communication: Ability to present and influence stakeholders at all levels, from SMBs to Fortune 500 companies.
* Self-Starter & Team Player: Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

* £80,000 base salary + uncapped commission
