PA/Team Assistant - Accountancy Industry
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
Based in Bank, City of London
4 or 5 days per week - including 1 day working from home.
A growing accountancy firm is looking for a PA/Team Assistant to be based in their London office near Bank. The role will be supporting tax partners and fee earners with a range of administrative support, including document preparation, billing, invoicing support, maintaining files, and arranging travel. We are looking for a PA/Team Assistant with experience in using CCH systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the tax team's operations. The role will be supporting a team of 20, including 5 Partners.
Key Responsibilities as a PA/Team Assistant:
1. Provide admin support to multiple colleagues including calendar management, client onboarding, travel & meeting coordination, and document preparation.
2. Prepare, proofread, format, and distribute documents such as proposals, reports, and other correspondence following company standards. Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems ensuring confidentiality & compliance.
3. Act as a liaison between clients and colleagues, building strong relationships, helping to onboard clients, managing communications, scheduling meetings, and maintaining up-to-date client records. Perform background checks, produce engagement letters & set clients up on relevant systems.
4. Assist with the preparation of client invoices & billing operations.
5. Coordinate with internal departments to streamline workflows & improve efficiency, providing support to other teams where required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar dynamic role/environment.
2. Experience using CCH systems is highly advantageous.
3. Experience of working in professional services, finance, or legal.
4. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
5. A positive attitude, demonstrating a willingness to assist and showcasing strong organisational skills.
6. Proactive initiative, collaborative spirit, and impeccable attention to detail.
