Our prestigious Client is a World Leading Print Equipment Manufacturer who has developed a global reputation for its products and customer service within the hi-speed, eco-friendly Inkjet Print solutions sector.
They are looking for an experienced Product Trainer to provide sales driven training and product demonstrations to new customers, key accounts, dealers and the retail channel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for putting together the training programs as well as delivering them.
The greater majority of your time will be based in one of our Client’s offices – in Hertfordshire – the rest of the time will be spent conducting training at Customer sites. A Company Car is part of the Package.
The ideal candidate will have face to face ‘classroom’ training experience and have the ability to build their own training programs.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will need to understand the equipment and market and will be able to contribute to the marketing department's activities with regard to business development, identifying new features and benefits that will appeal to the market.
Therefore the successful candidate will be able to contribute to the Marketing Dept’s activities with regard to:
1. Creating buy-in for the product vision – both internally and with key external partners
2. Developing product pricing and positioning strategies
3. Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
4. Gaining a deep understanding of customer experience, identifying and filling product gaps and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
5. Scoping and prioritizing activities based on business and customer impact
6. Working closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
7. Driving product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
8. Evaluating promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
9. Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
10. Representing the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
