Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team at Hinkley A station. Our Multi Skilled Plumber will be responsible for carrying out a range of general plumbing and fabric maintenance and business support tasks. They will report to the site Manager and Supervisors and assist the team as required in the delivery of reactive, planned, and ad hoc maintenance tasks. Working hours are 36 per week from 17:00, Monday to Thursday (4-day week).
Main Duties:
1. Weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled
2. Flushing of little used outlets / water temperature recording
3. General plumbing duties
4. Monthly utilities readings
5. First line response to reactive repairs
6. Minor building fabric repairs
7. Minor plumbing repairs
8. Ad hoc porterage duties (moves & changes, furniture management & moves, etc.)
9. Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work orders
10. Comply fully with Health, Safety & Environmental policies
11. Completion of documentation as required, including RAMS and adhere to all associated permits
What we are looking for:
Experienced and qualified plumber with level 3 in Plumbing and Awareness of Legionella. Presented in a clean and tidy manner to represent the company in the most professional manner possible, utilising the uniform and PPE issued. Responsible for self and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and subsequent UK and EU amendments.
