Job Title: Girl's Performance Coach (EEP Lead)

Our Women's Team:
Women's Cricket is undergoing significant change with the introduction of a three-tier domestic structure; Tier 1 with eight fully professional teams, Tier 2 with ten amateur teams with professional support teams, and Tier 3 with circa twenty amateur teams.
Worcestershire County Cricket Club is proud to have been awarded Tier 2 status for our Women's Rapids team and is seeking to recruit a Girl's Performance Coach to assist with driving growth, developing our EEP in Worcestershire and ensuring that our record of talent development and on-field success continues within the new ECB domestic Women's elite Cricket pyramid.
Purpose of the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Coach who will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the Girls' Early Engagement Pathway (U10-U13), including coaching, administration, and communication. It involves leading coaching sessions for younger age groups, assisting with older squads and the women's team, and contributing to player selection decisions.
The role ensures the effective running of the pathway by managing schedules, coordinating with parents, and supporting player development across multiple age groups.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage the Girls Early Engagement pathway programme (U10 to U13's)
* Lead Coach of U11 or U13 girls team
* Coach Girls Under 15 and Under 18 squads at training and matches when necessary
* Assistant Coach of Girls EPP
* Assistant Coach of Women's Team
* Manage the administration and communication of the girls Early Engagement Programme, including communicating with parents and managing the coaching staff schedule
* Assisting with selection and deselection decisions across the Girls Pathway

Requirements
It is expected that you will have:
* A minimum ECB Level 3 coaching qualification
* Experience of coaching on a county pathway in the foundation phase
* Excellent knowledge of the foundation phase
* Excellent coaching, communication, and organisational skills
* Up to date safeguarding, first aid and DBS certification
* Current ECB coaches' association membership
* IT proficient in terms of note taking and communication
* Experience of coaching using video analysis
* Experiences of coaching the game across various settings, stages, and ages of development
* A knowledge and understanding of junior and senior recreational cricket
* The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with key personnel in clubs and schools
* A knowledge and understanding of the professional game pathway
You will need to have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to obtain this by the start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
This role will involve training, supervising, working with and/or being in sole charge of children and young people. The successful applicant will therefore be required to apply for an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. A disclosure is an impartial and confidential document that details an individual's criminal record and where appropriate gives details of those who are banned from working with children. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.

Hours, benefits and salary:
This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week over 5 days. This will include working some evenings and weekends, particularly during the Cricket season.
The salary for this role is £28,000 per annum.
