Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and compelling Key Account Manager to join our Northern Ireland Convenience Channel team at Britvic. This hybrid role will report to the Channel Controller NI and will be responsible for leading the development of key customers, negotiating and executing strategic and tactical plans to deliver company targets, market share growth, and effective management of commercial investments. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, organized, disciplined, and ambitious, with a track record of driving outstanding execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop cost-effective and insight-driven promotional plans in collaboration with the Customer Trade Marketing and Insight teams
* Develop and execute channel and account plans to achieve budget targets for revenue, volume, trading contribution, and average retail price
* Manage all investment lines, including promotional discounts, LTD & ADF spend, and deliver accurate forecasts
* Deliver great Joint Business Plans that drive market share growth, customer revenue, marginal contribution, and customer profit
* Grow e-commerce presence to outperform established store performance
* Operate internal and customer systems effectively for product setup, forecasting, promotion deal approval, and performance analysis
* Manage monthly accruals and invoicing
* Develop key relationships with influencers within your customer base
* Improve product pull-through into stores and manage the supply chain cost to serve
* Develop optimum range of new and core product listings throughout the year
* Manage communication with the Field Sales team, setting monthly targets and sharing promotion information

Qualifications & Skills required:
* Degree in a business-related area (relevant experience may qualify)
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
* Excellent IT skills
* Commercial awareness and proven negotiation skills
* Strong planning, organizing, and financial acumen
Desirable Experience:
* 2+ years of sales experience in the FMCG industry
* Knowledge of the beverage industry, products, channels, and competition
* Track record of overachieving KPIs and high-performance achievement
* Experience in delivering outstanding distribution, space, and display across account bases
* Ability to demonstrate market share growth balanced with internal margin growth
* Field team or group development background
