We have an exciting vacancy for a Business Developer to join our EMEA sales team. We are looking for a tenacious individual with a strong commercial mindset who is able to build & maintain relationships with new and existing customers. The incumbent will work closely with the wider Life Science Technologies commercial organisation, and particularly the Innovator sales team.
Your responsibilities:
Deliver the financial targets for the assigned accounts/segments.
Articulate and execute the New Business Development (NBD) roadmap to expand LST pipeline of projects and support growth on the EMEA Innovator market segment.
Manage the relationship with assigned accounts/segments in EMEA Region and coordinate with all supporting functions (RnD teams, Product Managers, Customer Service Teams, Finance, Supply Chain, etc...) to service customer's needs at the best level.
Implement business unit pricing strategies (with the Market Lead) and ensure that budgeted sales and margins are achieved
Lead NBD initiatives such as NPI, Business Model Innovations or New Market Development across EMEA Region.
Monitor and follow up catalysts demand on an on-going basis and create reliable forecast for the projects/customers managed (focus on Innovators market segment but not exclusively)
Requirements for the role:
Degree in a scientific/technical or business field or significant experience
Project Management skills
Expertise setting up and managing sales channels and processes
Excellent communication & personal skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and persuade at all levels
Ability to prioritise workload of self and team, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
