Purpose of the role:
As the Digital Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including paid social, search, and email marketing. Your primary objective is to assist in driving revenue through web sales and increasing brand engagement.
You will achieve this by collaborating closely with both the Paid Media Manager and CRM Manager to implement strategies, creating compelling content, and analysing performance data to optimise ongoing campaigns. Additionally, you will ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with the brand's tone, style, and goals, while continuously learning and contributing fresh ideas to enhance the digital presence.
Main Responsibilities:
This role is an opportunity to assess and improve the ways we reach our audiences, explore and implement the best tech available to optimise communications and work with our in-house teams to create seamless and customer-centric user experiences – both initial and ongoing. The person we are looking for will be responsible for supporting the growth of qualified customer traffic and customer retention by delivering engaging, personalised, communications for each of these audiences, across each of our markets, to hit both our growth and retention goals.
Campaign Support
* Assisting with Digital Campaigns: Supporting the setup and execution of paid social, paid search, and email across platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Emarsys.
* Uploading Content: Helping to upload and schedule content for digital campaigns, ensuring deadlines are met for capturing consumer demand and promotions
* Monitoring Campaigns: Keeping an eye on live campaigns, flagging performance issues, and ensuring ads are running as intended.
Content Creation and Management
* Collaborating with social media and design team: Helping create or curate content for social media channels, such as Instagram, Facebook, Email.
* Campaign management: Preparing email calendars and social ads to be briefed.
Data Collection and Reporting
* Collecting Performance Data: Assisting in gathering data from various platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.) for reporting on campaign performance.
* Weekly/Monthly Reports: Helping to create reports that highlight the performance of digital marketing campaigns, including key metrics like Cost of Sales, open rates, Conversion rate.
* Tracking and Analysis: Assisting in monitoring digital marketing metrics and flagging areas that need improvement or further investigation.
Trend and Competitor Research
* Monitoring Competitors: Conducting basic research on competitors’ digital marketing strategies, analysing trends, and sharing insights with the team.
* Identifying Industry Trends: Keeping up with emerging trends in digital marketing and fashion to suggest new ideas for campaigns or content.
Key Skills & Experience:
* 1+ years' experience of working in a marketing role or related setting
* Passionate about data and optimisation
* Proactive and analytical individual with excellent communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritise effectively
* Experience with ESPs
* Experience with agency coordination
* Proficiency with Google Analytics, Excel and other analytics platforms
* A good understanding of marketing principles and how campaigns are managed across different channels, specifically email marketing and digital paid media
